Here at Database Ventures we offer a unique service to all of our clients - and that is we listen and understand your business requirements before we proceed with any work. A lot of software companies attempt to train coders into being consultants whereas we have consultants who have become expert coders. And this makes a huge difference in bridging the gap of understanding between a clients interpretation of their ideas and a software developer's interpretation.

Converting our clients' data ideas and requirements into fully fledged workable solutions is a task we undertake with great care and pride. Creating a set of applications that encompass a discrete set of business rules and offers our clients more than they expect is just part of our every day work.

More often than not we are contacted by clients that are presented with an unworkable business application set up and although they do not know a solutions (or set of solutions) they do know "its just not workable". We work with these clients to come up with a number of different options and actively seek the best and most cost effective one for them.

In the case of clients with constantly changing business rules we do offer our Rapid Application Development skills via the "Agile" methology. "Agile" will let us produce a prototype very quickly and inexpensively and will often end up being the full time mission critical application they had originally intended to build.
